About Me

I'm originally from Alberta, Canada, and have also spent much time in India, Borneo and Japan and speak some Hindi and Japanese.

During my second visit to Japan, I studied Japanese calligraphy where my calligraphy teacher gifted a set of hand carved stamps, which now accompany my signature. While in Brunei, I started painting more regularly and  since then I've donated all art profits to plant figs to support Borneo reforestation with 1StopBorneo. All art and prints available on my website come on quality art paper, with net proceeds being donated to 1StopBorneo for reforestation.

In addition to art, I'm an engineer and mother of two amazing boys, who share my common love for skiing and running. Much of my working volunteer hours are spent supporting low carbon solutions to combat climate change. I hope my art inspires an appreciation for nature, and also increasing carbon sinks and biodiversity through donations to reforestation.
